The Heisey
Wind Ensemble brings great music to Licking County and central
Ohio.
Guided by Music Director Dr. Russel Mikkelson, the HWE has a
strong tradition of performances both stimulating and entertaining.
Presenting a four-concert season from October to April, the HWE will present its twenty-seventh season in 2011-2012. Special concerts in
the past have included appearances at the Ohio Music Education
Association's State Conference and the "Fourth of July" celebrations at the Reese Amphitheater in Newark, Ohio.
The HWE at home in the Alford Performing Arts Hall of the John Gilbert Reese Center on the
Newark Campus of The
Ohio State University and Central Ohio Technical College.
